What Owner verified means.

What it means

• The owner confirmed a code sent to the contact on record for the business.
• The owner added a business document, and a person at BeatTheDoor reviewed it.
• Licence on file means the owner showed a licence and a person reviewed it.

What it does not mean

It does not guarantee that a licence is valid, that a business is solvent, or that any work is good. It is not a credit report, a background check or a lending decision. Do your own checks.

Listings without the badge

Most listings start as public record listings, built from state registries, licences and permits. They are marked as public record, and they may be out of date. Owners can claim, correct or remove them.
